  • Minimum 10 years’ experience working in the government agency, defense and/or military realm

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience within capture management and/or business development

  • End-to-end understanding of how products move from drawing room to PoR (Programs of Record) within the Pentagon and other agencies

  • Deep and broad contacts across the full chain of custody (program managers, warfighters, acquisition folks, staffers, etc.) within the relevant agencies such as DARPA, DIU, AFC, AFWERX, SOFWERX, etc.

  • Experience growing and managing small teams, preferably across multiple locations

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including strong writing and negotiating ability

  • Technical acumen, capable of evangelizing product specs without reliance on engineering leadership

  • Collaborative, with a proven ability to obtain consensus across all levels of an organization

  • Experience working independently; proactive; a strong self-starter

  • Must be able to travel domestically as required

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (Engineering a plus)

  • Must be a US Citizen as the finalist will be required to obtain a US Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance
